Locust Hollow is a townhouse community.
What is a townhouse....
A townhouse (also known as a townhome) refers to a type of architecture. It’s a multilevel home that shares walls with other homes on one or both sides. If you own your townhouse, you own the interior, exterior and land on which the home sits. So you’ve got more freedom—and more responsibility—when it comes to how you use your property.
Townhouses typically come with HOA fees, just like a condo. But with a townhouse, the HOA fees go toward common areas and responsibilities noted in the bylaws, such as roof replacement—not maintaining the exterior of your townhouse. Your homeowners' insurance should cover repairs or rebuilding of the entire structure from the exterior walls in.
No building, fence, wall or other structure shall be commenced, erected, or maintained upon the property, nor shall any exterior addition or change or alteration be made until plans and specifications are submitted and approved by the HOA's Board of Directors. Requests may be made in writing to the Board of Directors for consideration at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
If an owner wishes to install or replace a storm door, approval of the exact style, type, and color must be first obtained from the Board of Directors.
No commercial or non-passenger vehicles of any type other than small business van-type vehicles and no unlicensed motor vehicles of any type shall be permitted to remain overnight on the property exclusively reserved for the homeowner within Locust Hollow nor the streets within the development unless garaged.
Each unit owner is allotted one parking space behind their garage along the grass, in addition to two spaces in their garage.
Designated overflow parking areas are reserved exclusively for guests of the homeowners and should not be used by residents.
Pets such as dogs and cats are permitted in Locust Hollow. Such pets are limited to two per household. Farm animals and other exotic pets are not permitted to be housed in Locust Hollow.
Founded on March 28, 1990, Locust Hollow HOA has been serving our community for over 35 years. Our association was established to provide a platform for residents to voice their concerns and work together to improve our neighborhood. The HOA is responsible for maintenance of the Common Area and its related expenses, in addition to other responsibilities outlined in the Declarations and Covenants.
